I wish I could see you in Heaven

I wish I could see you in heaven,
can’t imagine what it’s like to be there.
It must be a site to stroll heaven,
in that new robe of white that you wear.

The scares that you had are all gone now,
the eye that was blind can now see,
and you’re running with new legs in heaven,
as you shout to the world victory.

Are the angels all gathered around you
in your new home to show you the way.
Oh how does it feel to see Jesus,
can’t wait till I see him someday.

My brother you must be so happy
to be whole once again must be grand.
I wish I could see you in heaven
as you walk with the Lord hand in hand.

Don’t worry about us my brother,
we know that it’s better this way,
the pain that we have will not linger,
since we’ll all be together some day.
