A Good Deed

When I try to do something for someone that is good,
Sometimes I get discouraged and I wonder if I should.

Sometimes when helping others, it can really be a pain,
I just remember what I do will not be done it vain.

Some of them, may  thank me, and they are very pleased
but there are some, who do not like your help when they’re in need.

Some will try to pay me, and they say" Please take this honey",
But my good deed won't be a deed if I get paid with money.

Our Lord and Savior said to help our neighbors when in need,
Cause just remember what He did, He did the greatest deed.
