The First Day I Met Jesus The first day I met Jesus, was the greatest day of all. A burden I'd been carrying, for so long was now all gone. The first day I met Jesus, I felt His Love with in my heart, A love I'd never felt before, this love will never part. The first day I met Jesus, was a happy day for me. I knew I had a savior, who had set this sinner free. The first day I met Jesus; I knew heaven was my home. His Blood had washed away my sins And now they were all gone. The first day I met Jesus, it made me want to cry, I'd waited so long to met Him, I did not know just why.
