| 05/22/06 I hope this finds everyone doing well. We are all fine here in Iraq. Sorry I haven't emailed in a while. I am at a new location and there is only 2 copmuters to use with internet. I will be here for a few more weeks. We have a big construction project here to complete. The weather hasn't been to bad thus far. It is hot but bareable. There is a breeze that blows that helpsto keep you cooled off. The good thing about this is that time is going by fast. The month of May is all most over. We have about 3 1/2 more months to go. I just wanted to Thank You for all your prayers for us here and our families back home. The lord has kept us safe and out of harms way so far, as I know he will comtine to do. Please continue to email and I will reply as soon as I can. I love you and miss you all. I can't wait to the day that I will be able to see you all face to face again. | 6/10/06 Just wanted to take the time to write a few lines to say hey. Time is moving on pretty good. We are staying really busy with the mission that we are on right now. We should be here a couple more weeks before returning to Marez. We are all getting excited and anticipating the soon coming of our time to return home. There are still some very long days ahead, but we are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I can not wait until I can see everyone face to face again. I just wanted you all to know that I was thinking about you and I miss each of you. I would like to thank you all again for the many prayers and the support that you have given Jenny, Cody, Josh and myself. I know the prayers are being answered. The Lord has continued to keep us safe in every mission that my company and battalion has been on or involved in. As I have said many times, I know that there has been dangers that we have been through without us even knowing that they were there. Please continue to pray for us and our families back home. | I hope this finds everyone doing well. We are all doing fine over here. The weather isn't to bad. The temperature has been between 110-120 normally during the day. We have had a few dust storms in the late evening, and I have even seen a few puffy clouds in the sky that reminded me of home. Time is moving along rather quickly. We are hearing and doing more towards our return home. Now that I look back on our time here, it has went by fast. As of today Aug 2, we have been on active duty for 1 year. We are all getting really excited about our return home with family and friends. Everyone still realizes the dangers that we face everyday, and we are focused on getting everyone home safely. Continue to pray that we remain focused on our jobs and each others safety each day. I know the Lord will continue to have his protecting hand around us and carry us when we can't carry ourselves, as he has all year.
