At PPG 5

It is now the millennium year, believe it or not but I'm still here.
Empowerments gone, this much it true.
There's a new plant manager and others too.
He's never here, that’s still the same.
It seems it's all still just a game.

Some things are better than before.
But some are not and that’s for sure.
They still pay people just to come,
And hang around, no work gets done.

Some people they hire are very smart,
They know our jobs before they start.
They're only here a week or two,
And they know more than me or you.

There is one thing I can't believe,
It’s going on, hard to conceive.
Is there a boss, or is there not?
They sure don't seem to care allot.

They sit up stairs and chew the fat,
Not caring where their peoples at.
But does the work even get done?
That's not how it should be run.

Now there are those that work real hard,
They carry all, the extra yard.
It's getting worse most everyday,
We're getting tired seeing others play.

So the bad gets worse, and the good get bad,
You know yourself that’s really sad.
When a place this big cannot be run,
And you pay two for the work of one.

I know it seems I hate this place,
But I do not! I hate the race.
Of fighting for the things that’s right,
In hopes that soon, you'll see the light.

Management don't seem to care,
Till union talk is in the air.
Then you can't stir them with a stick,
Trying to pull their " give a crap trick".

When the unions gone, so is their faces,
They all return to their carefree places.
I tell you now if something don't give,
We’ll All BE CHANGING THE WAY WE LIVE.

If we lose our job, we might lose or mind,
But we won't be alone, in the bankrupt line.
So what’s the plan, can you help this place?
Or is it now a hopeless case…..
